• Small Class Sizes: With a Trailblazer-to-Teacher ratio of no more than 15:1, every child receives the attention and guidance they deserve.

• A Rigorous & Thoughtful Admissions Process: We take great care in ensuring that Trailblazer Academy is the right fit for each child. Our unique three-part admissions assessment evaluates problem-solving & ethical reasoning through real-world scenario discussions, academic stamina & resilience with a structured, rigorous written test, and applied knowledge & hands-on thinking via creative problem-solving challenges.

• Gifted-Endorsed Teachers: Our founding teachers are certified in the state of Florida, as well as gifted-endorsed. They have decades of combined experience working with gifted youth, which means they have specific experience and training pertaining to the nature and needs of the gifted.

• Enriched Curriculum: Our program goes beyond the basics, offering rigorous academics paired with hands-on, project-based learning. At Trailblazer Academy, students will never be occupied by busy work targeted at the lowest-common-denominator student.

• Focus on STEAM and Creativity: From coding and robotics to art and design, our students explore and excel in diverse fields.

• Real-Life Readiness: We prepare students for success beyond the classroom by teaching critical soft skills, financial literacy, and the principles of entrepreneurship. • Off-Site Field Trips: We plan off-site field trips that directly tie into our curriculum, giving Trailblazers the opportunity to experience their learning in action. Whether visiting a tech lab, a creative studio, or a historical site, these trips deepen understanding and spark inspiration. Parents provide transportation and chaperoning, making these experiences possible.

Adaptive Classroom Environment: Our spacious, flexible classroom allows for seamless transitions between whole-group activities, small-group collaboration, and hands-on project work.

Think Tanks: Designed like mini conference rooms, our two Think Tanks serve as dedicated spaces for small-group discussions, brainstorming, and collaborative projects—reinforcing our focus on entrepreneurial thinking and leadership.

Library & Lounge:  A welcoming space with accommodative seating options, perfect for independent reading, quiet study, or casual discussions.

STEAM Lab: A hub for creativity, engineering, and hands-on discovery, our lab features:

• 3D printers for rapid prototyping
• Cricut machine for precision design and crafting
• LEGO robotics for coding and engineering challenges
• Drafting table & easel for art and design projects
• Pegboard activities for interactive, problem-solving fun
• Adjustable furniture for flexible, dynamic workspaces

Hydroponics & Aquaponics Lab: A fully equipped sustainability-focused learning space where students explore the science behind growing plants and fish symbiotically, reinforcing sustainability concepts and environmental stewardship.

Personalized Storage: Each Trailblazer has dedicated storage space to keep their materials organized.

Brand-New Kitchenette: Featuring refrigeration and microwaves, our kitchenette allows Trailblazers to bring and prepare their own lunches, promoting independence and responsibility.

Outdoor Learning & Exploration

With expansive outdoor areas, Trailblazers get to touch grass and take learning beyond the classroom through:
